Restore Your Smile Faster With A CEREC Crown
You are playing in a summer league softball game for your company. A pop fly is floating near you. You try to get under it, not knowing that one of your teammates has the same idea.
Since neither of you calls for the ball, you crash into one another. The ball drops, but more importantly, so do you and your teammate.
As you start to get up, another teammate notices that both of you are bleeding. When you check your mouth, one of your teeth is broken. The same thing has happened to your teammate.
What should you do?
We recommend calling [phone] or filling out our online form to make an appointment at Texas Grins as soon as you are able. With our CEREC dental crowns, we can fix your tooth, repair your smile, and restore the function of your tooth quickly and effectively.
We’ll explain below why our CEREC crowns make us the place to go for your restorative dentistry.
Getting Your Dental Crown From Us
Let’s assume that you make your appointment to get a dental crown at Texas Grins. What can you expect?
First and foremost, you will be greeted by one of the friendliest staffs in the Lone Star State. We want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as you can be during your stay with us. We also offer sedation dentistry if you are feeling anxious about your procedure.
The good news is you can leave our office with your new CEREC dental crown in a matter of just a few hours.
After scanning your mouth, that information is shared with a computer problem that helps us design a dental crown that looks like a natural part of your smile. We will reshape your broken tooth to make an abutment to support your crown when it’s ready.
We are able to make your crown in our office using our CEREC milling machine. The CAD/CAM software guides the machine as it forms a cube of ceramic into your crown. When it’s complete, we will bond the crown to your tooth to restore your smile and the function of your tooth.
In just one visit to our office, your smile could be as good as new (or maybe even a little better).
Meanwhile, At Your Teammate’s Dentist Office
Your unfortunate teammate chose to go somewhere else for his dental crown. This office didn’t offer CEREC same-day crowns. So, how was his experience different than yours?
It may have started similarly. The dentist may have made an impression or scanned his mouth to have a guide for making the dental crown. Then, the dentist probably reshaped his broken tooth into an abutment, too.
This is when things differ from your experience at our dentist office in Willow Park, TX, however.
Your teammate’s dentist does not have a CEREC machine, so his dentist can’t make a crown in the office. Instead, your teammate’s dentist has to place an order for the crown at a dental lab.
Depending on how far away the lab is and how many other orders arrived before your teammates, he could be waiting weeks for his permanent dental crown.
To protect his tooth, his dentist will likely give him a temporary crown. Unfortunately, temporary crowns can break or come loose during the time he is waiting for the real crown to arrive. This can lead to new problems or just more trips to the dentist for your teammate.
When the crown is complete and arrives at his dentist office, he will have to make another appointment to have his crown placed. Then, finally, his smile will be restored (he hopes).
